I don’t know why you blog, but I know why I blog.

*ops, too blurish*

I don’t know why you blog, but I know why I blog.

I have been wanting to pen down this thought on my blog since I’ve started this site but I’ve yet to assemble my thoughts on what to write about it. I wanted to tag it under the About Me label.

Why do I blog?

Some of my friends will know that I have blog since 2005 under an old URL and had recently taken it down as it is no longer active after the start of this site. Initially, I’ve wanted to transfer those to here, but the peer pressure of doing that changed my mind, lolx. And, in the end I decided not to. (Alright, I am just being too lazy to bother).

Improving English

During the earlier years, I started blogging to improve my way of expressing myself in English language. I want to improve my grammar (please do not scold me for not improving at all), my essay writing and …English (ok ok I am not doing any good).

Pen down thoughts/feelings

I started a blog to pen down all my personal thoughts, my feelings and ranting. I gave nicknames to people that I bitch about and using cute cute terms to describe them. You wouldn’t believe the way I did!

Sharing with close friends

Later, I shared to a few closer friends just to let them know of my daily updates. My blog is very plain without picture but long winded. Most of them complains about it as they need to read a hell lot of words in my blog and some time some never bother reading but just glance through to get to the point (I mean most people do that to very long post right?).

Open up to public

I never thought appearing as non-anonymous in a blog, until recently I wanted to share with all my other friends who’d asked me about my blog before, openly. And, in that case, I have decided to create CHEWAK.COM. In addition to all of the above, chewak.com is a place where I would like to share my events and life with my friends from Malaysia or other places, with pictures of me and friends and whatnots. Most of them visit my blog daily just checking how I am doing. Thank you ya’ll.

Blogging benefits couples

Throughout my experience in blogging, I have found that blogging is seriously good for couples. Why? Well, first of all you pen down your thoughts either unhappy or happy, showing your events of what you did and writing to update one another, especially for those who has long distance relationship, don’t you think so? I mean this is a great way to tell your other half what you think! However, it will not happen if (1) your other partner is IT illiterate, (2) he/she doesn’t read / understand your English / Chinese and (3) he/she is just plain bored with reading!

Money Making Blog

Of course the best part is while you are doing what you really love in blogging, you get to earn some money!!!

So, what is your reason of blogging?
