Social networking nowadays is amazing

It is amazing how internet or social networking has evolved. I remember the time when IRC was the hype and people meet each other in the chatroom, and subsequently face to face. I remember how few of my friends did a small gathering with others from IRC in some places for a drink or so. We get to meet so many new friends and of course it was safer back then. No stupid cases of rape or kidnapping involved.

Now, we have Twitter gathering happening from all over the world! That is amazing as we can find people who we will never be able to meet if it is not for Twitter. Twitter not only makes us connect but it let us have some little ‘conversation’ like inside that 140 character space. Plus what you tweet for the day, everyone is following and the best part is how they response to it. Getting to know another by following their life on Twitter. It sounds freaky but then again, it’s pretty amazing to me.

I just wonder if in any case Twitter decided to shut down? Hahaha …..

What you think will happen to all of us?

Anyway, I have been pretty busy lately as work has based me on location that requires more than an hour travelling to 2 hours if traffic is pretty bad, one way. It has been a crazy time adjusting to the cycle. The best part will be I am not sure how long the project will take.
You can see I have left my blog unattended for 2 weeks now. I feel bad. I should blog more. But unfortunately, this weekend I caught myself some kind of bug and am down with un-wellness. Guess how much is the cost of visiting doctor here? It is AUD70 by default but can go up depending on what others you needed to be check on / injections or such. Mine cost me AUD100.
